Frank Ramos has been producing music for over ten years. Throughout his life, he was always fascinated with the way different elements of songs blended together. At first, this made Frank want to become a DJ, especially since he was very much interested in mashups that others would post online. In fact, Frank started a YouTube channel in 2011 in which he would also post his mashups and remixes. However, once he started making remixes of people’s songs, Frank realized that his true passion was to create music from scratch. He chose the stage name “DJ Mashup” because his work is all about blending different sounds together and creating new art by incorporating as many different elements as possible. With that being said, Frank enjoys a vast variety of genres, including 80’s synthpop, heavy metal, EDM, R&B, and so on. Inspirations for his music include The Weeknd, Charlie Puth, Lady Gaga, and Zedd. Frank also sings and writes his own lyrics, but he wants to be more than just the artist that sings on his records. One of his dreams is to be able to produce for many high-profile artists and work for a major record label.
